Spoken
Real-time voice translation

Just talk. It translates out loud.

Spoken listens to you, then speaks the translation back in a natural voice — so the conversation keeps its rhythm. No typing. No phrasebook to fumble with mid-sentence.

CONVERSATION

Talk back and forth.

Two-way spoken translation. You talk, they talk, and Spoken speaks both sides aloud in a natural voice so the conversation flows in both directions.

LISTEN

Live captions of the room.

One-way live captions of the speech around you — meetings, lectures, tours — in your language. Flip between translate and transcribe for same-language captions.

HISTORY

Nothing gets lost.

Captions sessions save their raw transcripts automatically. Reopen them in History, and request AI enhancement when you want a formatted transcript and summary.

OFFLINE

No signal? Still works.

Download language packs and run the full voice loop with no signal — on the subway, on a plane, deep in a market with no bars.

PRIVACY

Private by default.

When your device can handle it, speech recognition runs on-device. Your conversations don't have to leave your phone.

How it works

Three steps. Then you forget it's there.

01

Speak

Talk in your language, at a normal pace. Spoken listens.

02

Translate

It understands what you said and translates it instantly.

03

Hear it back

The other person hears it aloud in their language, in a natural voice.

Questions

Good to know.

Do I need an internet connection?

Online access provides the full 60+ language coverage. Offline voice translation requires a supported device and downloaded language packs, with different language coverage. AI summaries also require internet access.

How natural does the voice really sound?

Spoken offers natural, high-quality voice output in every one of its 60+ supported online speech-recognition languages. Listen to translations in both directions, with the same language coverage for hearing and speaking.

Is my conversation private?

On supported devices, speech recognition can run on-device. Online speech recognition, voice output and AI features use cloud processing. See our privacy policy for data-handling details.

What does it cost?

Spoken is free to download and try. Full pricing details are coming soon.

Which devices are supported?

Spoken runs on iPhone and Android phones. Get it from the App Store or Google Play.

What's the difference between Conversation and Listen?

Conversation is two-way: you and another person talk, and Spoken speaks both sides aloud. Listen is one-way — it captions the speech around you, like a meeting, lecture, or tour, in your language, and you can switch it between translating and plain transcribing.

Can Spoken take notes from a meeting?

Yes. Open a saved captions session in History and request AI enhancement to create a summary, decisions and action items. You can also translate the summary layer into another language. AI enhancement requires Pro and internet access.
